Droplet ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Dropletfy application (the "Service"), a Shopify app that syncs orders from Shopify stores into a central order management system for warehouse fulfillment. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use Dropletfy, we collect the following types of information:

• Store owner information — your name, email address, and Shopify store URL, as provided during app installation.
• Order data — order numbers, line items, quantities, shipping addresses, and fulfillment status from your Shopify store.
• Customer information from orders — customer names, shipping addresses, and email addresses associated with orders synced from your store. We process this data solely on your behalf to produce, pack, and ship those orders.
• Product and inventory data — product titles, variants, SKUs, images, and inventory levels from your Shopify store, used to match orders to production items and keep stock levels in sync.
• Usage data — basic information about how you interact with the Service, such as login activity and feature usage.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely for the following purposes:

• Order management — syncing, organizing, and displaying orders from your Shopify store in a centralized dashboard for your warehouse team.
• Fulfillment tracking — tracking order status, packing progress, and shipment updates across your operations. When an order ships, we write the fulfillment status and tracking number back to your Shopify store so your customers are notified.
• Inventory synchronization — reading and updating inventory quantities in your Shopify store so stock levels stay accurate as orders are produced and fulfilled.
• Service improvement — understanding usage patterns to improve the reliability and performance of the Service.
• Support — responding to your questions, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical assistance.

We process customer personal data strictly as a processor on behalf of the merchant, limited to the purposes above. We do not use customer data for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we honor customer data requests and redaction requests received through Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information or store data with third parties. Your data is used exclusively to provide the Service to you. We may only disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests by public authorities.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active and the Dropletfy app is installed on your Shopify store. If you uninstall the app or request account deletion, we will delete your data from our systems within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
